Abstract

The authors of the article dealing with issues of incorrect exchanging the term of criminalistic identification with the concept of biometric verification. They point out that for biometric features of the person can be considered only those biometric features people who are for the individual unique and unmistakable ever, verifiable and inimitable with another person.
